What can we do?
We have a specialist team of engineers to help you with your projects. With many years experience and completing a broad range of projects our team are highly qualified engineers. Jeckells Engineering team consist of hardware, systems, and mechanical engineers.
Systems Engineers - Our systems engineers are well versed in the relevant standards (e.g. DEF-STAN, MIL-STD) for environmental testing, EMC, quality, etc. The team have managed countless EO systems designs through the entire product lifecycle from requirements capture, through design and formal testing, to production optimisation and obsolescence management.
Hardware Engineers - Our hardware engineering team is experienced in using a range of electronics CAD tools (including Mentor Graphics, Cadence, Altium, KiCAD, etc,) and firmware and software development tools to ensure all electronics, firmware and software designs perform as specified and meet relevant quality standards. Core capabilities include designing electronic systems, troubleshooting & test support.
Mechanical Engineers - We have a team of mechanical engineers that develop designs from concepts and prototypes, to testing and production, using a range of CAD software tools to create models, simulations and evaluate performance of parts.
Optical Engineers - Our optical engineers use CAD modelling including raytracing to design, refine and optimise EO system performance. The team has extensive knowledge and experience into fields of minimising straylight performance and matching lens and detector combinations to achieve high performance EO systems.
